The Retrofit Academy has teamed up with Elmhurst Energy to develop an Accreditation Scheme for Retrofit Coordinators that is fully-compliant with PAS2035 and TrustMark.
It is a requirement of PAS2035 that Retrofit Coordinators hold the Open College Network Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management. Once you have qualified through The Retrofit Academy, you will be eligible to apply to the Accreditation Scheme.
For a limited time only, Retrofit Coordinators who trained with The Retrofit Academy can apply to Elmhurst’s Retrofit Coordinator scheme without paying an application fee (saving you £95). An annual membership charge of £350 will apply. All you need to do is complete the application form at https://www.elmhurstenergy.co.uk/retrofit-application-form making sure that you enter ‘Retrofit Academy’ in the ‘Where did you hear about us?’ section.
Why join Elmhurst’s Retrofit Coordinator Scheme?
Elmhurst’s involvement in the preparation of PAS 2035 has allowed them to develop a professional certification scheme which will help members to deliver quality within their role as a Retrofit Coordinator.
The Quality Mark
As a member of this Scheme you will have access to the coveted Quality Mark which demonstrates that you have been certified by an approved scheme to deliver PAS 2035 retrofit work.
RdSAP to SAP Converter
Should a Retrofit Assessor use RdSAP data within their assessment of the dwelling, Coordinators can use this conversion tool to upload RdSAP data sets and create a Design SAP input file. This is an important tool, recommended in PAS 2035 that will allow Retrofit Coordinators to amend more of the inputs, so to assess the impact of proposed measures in far more detail than you can with RdSAP.
Retrofit Coordinators can access the industry’s most intuitive and up to date SAP Calculation tool, Design SAP 2012. This government-approved software offers cutting edge functionality and is first choice amongst professionals in the built environment. You can find out more here.
Expert technical support
Elmhurst members can access free industry-leading technical support, available for their members should they need a solution to their problems. Our support team works tirelessly to ensure that members receive the best service and support in the industry.
Access to technical documents and updates
Elmhurst ensures that their members are ahead of the game by providing technical documents and industry updates to ensure that they are constantly expanding their knowledge base.
Submission of Retrofit Plans (Coming Soon)
Elmhurst is currently developing the functionality required for a Retrofit Coordinator to submit Retrofit Plans, including design, and details of installation and evaluation. Once this development is complete, members can submit their plans and additional documents through a central area which will also provide a useful space for coordinators to manage their projects.
